Dr. Nasreen Nagani
Dr. Nasreen Nagani graduated from Dow University of Health Sciences in 2012. She also served as a lecturer at her parent institute for six years. She completed her specialization, Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS) in Orthodontics from Dow University of Health Sciences in 2019. Dr. Nagani was produced as the first MDS-Orthodontics in Karachi. Currently she is serving as a Assistant Clinical Director and Senior Consultant Orthodontist at ClearPath Orthodontics where she is actively serving the organization with her knowledge and skills.
Research Interest(s): My research interests are primarily centered around contemporary orthodontics, with a strong focus on clear aligner therapy and digital treatment workflows. I am particularly interested in optimizing treatment planning strategies, including staging protocols, attachment design, and interproximal reduction (IPR), to enhance clinical efficiency and predictability.
I have a keen interest in the integration of digital technologies in orthodontics, including 3D treatment simulation, digital photography standardization, and CAD/CAM-based appliance fabrication. My work also explores clinical outcomes and comparative effectiveness of aligner therapy versus conventional orthodontic modalities.Additionally, I am engaged in research related to interdisciplinary dental care, particularly the interface between orthodontics and restorative dentistry in achieving functional and aesthetic outcomes. I am also interested in clinical audit, evidence-based practice, and improving patient compliance and oral hygiene protocols during orthodontic treatment.
