Dr. T.S. Vinoth Kumar has received his BDS and MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in 2007. He went on further obtaining the Diploma (MFDS RCPS) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, a Fellowship (FICD & FPFA), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with enormous academic and clinical achievements in the field. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students have benefitted from his teaching and clinical experience of 17 years. A unique treatment protocol termed “Reverse Sandwich Restoration” was introduced by him for the management of invasive cervical resorption.

He has more than thirty publications, a book, and continuing as invited reviews for many reputed journals. He has supervised many Masters projects. His research interests focused on in vitro and in vivo studies based on composite restorations and Endodontic treatments.        

He has participated in many administrative duties in the vice deanship of development and the vice deanship of academic affairs of the College of Dentistry.

Dr. Sasankoti Mohan Ravi Prakash is a general dentist and independent researcher at HopeHealth Inc, Florence, SC, USA, a Federally Qualified Health Center providing care to HIV/AIDS patients. Dr. Prakash earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, magna cum laude in 2022. He received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, India in 1999 and his Master of Dental Surgery in the specialty of Oral Medicine and Radiology from KLE Dental College, India in 2002.

With over 18 years of clinical, academic, and research experience, Dr Prakash is committed to providing quality dental care to adults and children with complex medical conditions and infectious diseases. His research interests are HIV/AIDS associated malignancies, oral manifestations of systemic diseases, Syndromes affecting cranio-facial region, TMD’s, and Oral Radiology.

Dr. Prakash has more than 100 scientific papers published in peer-reviewed indexed journals and is actively serving as an editorial board member for various journals. His research was recognized as the best original research by the Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology in 2018 and was conferred with the prestigious “Dr. A. K Bhoweer award.” He is a member of American Dental Association, and Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology.

Dr Raja is a renowned periodontist and academic at the School of Dental Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), where he has been a dedicated faculty member since 1999. Dr Raja earned his PhD in periodontal immunology from the University of Glasgow, UK, in 2014, complementing his specialist training in periodontics (M.Clin.Dent) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.), both from the University of Malaya in 2004 and 1997, respectively. Dr. Raja is an expert in periodontology and dental biomaterials, with research interests spanning periodontal immunology, clinical studies, teledentistry, and the development of innovative biomaterials. He has an extensive portfolio of internationally refereed publications in high-impact journals and serves as an editor for several esteemed dental and oral health journals. At USM, Dr. Raja teaches periodontology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He currently leads the Periodontics Unit and serves as the Postgraduate Coordinator for the Periodontics Programme. His commitment to education and mentorship has extended to the supervision of numerous research projects at the doctoral and master's levels. Dr. Raja has held significant leadership roles in professional organizations, including serving as President of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Malaysian Section (2018–2020) and Vice President of the Malaysian Society of Oral Microbiologists and Oral Pathologists (MySOMOI) (2018–2020). Beyond academia, Dr. Raja has contributed to public education by authoring children’s books for Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, focusing on oral health awareness. With a blend of clinical expertise, academic leadership, and research excellence, Dr Raja is a committed advocate for advancing oral health education and research.

Ningyan Yang received her B.S. degree in July 2006 and M.S. degree in July 2009 majored in stomotological medicine from Capital Medical University School of Stomatology. She completed her PhD degree in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Peking University School of Stomatology in July 2012. Dr. Yang was a resident doctor from August 2012 through November 2014 in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Beijing Stomatological Hospital, Capital Medical University, and an attending doctor from December 2014 through December 2016. Dr. Yang worked as a postdoctoral visiting fellow in the Secretory Mechanisms and Dysfunction Section (SMDS), National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), National Institutes of Health (NIH) in USA from December 2016 through March 2019. Then, Dr Yang was an associate chief doctor in Beijing Stomatological Hospital, Capital Medical University from November 2019. Since 2013, She has been an associate professor in Capital Medical University School of Stomatology.

Research Interest: Professional activities have included not only in secretion mechanisms of salivary gland, but, in recent years, also in microbiological research in caries and periapical periodontitis in primary teeth.
